I still have my job but I’ve had to stay home from work multiple times over the past few months due to job sites being shut down due to covid. I didn’t get paid those days. There are plenty of people like me. Luckily my funds are alright so I didn’t suffer much but do people in my situation not deserve checks? UI and checks need to be passed. I already don’t get hazard pay. I want the fukking check. Period

I don't want to make sweeping statements as I know situations vary. But from my viewpoint if you stayed on unemployment these last few months without trying to find something you might need the money less then people that have picked up odd jobs to make ends meet. I got a Breh that went from making 65/70K to unemployment, once UI dropped he found himself a job where's he's busting his ass bringing home probably 3K a month. He couldn't sit at home and wait for a Stimulus Bill to pass, and this guy wants to leave out people like this :scust:

What is McConnell's play here? Why is he so against a big bill the covers everything? I'm pretty certain at this point dems would agree to the liability protections at this point if the bill includes UI, stimulus checks, and state and local aid. So what gives? :snoop:
