to be fair tho, if it was.....
Kendrick, again? Y'all would complain.
J. Cole? *see above*
Drake? *see above*
Future? Not happening
It really speaks to rap not being what it was.
What's wrong with having Future?

He's saying the lack of rap options is a reflection on the state of rap.I don't understand, you're saying Sting performing at an event with a majority of the consumers and spectators are white is a reflection on the state of rap?
There isn't a lack of options thoHe's saying the lack of rap options is a reflection on the state of rap.
See my previous post
Forget Sting. He's not relevant to @jadillac's point. There isn't a lack of options tho
They didn't pick Sting because there were no rappers they found worthy enough
Nas isn't relevant and he did the intro or whatever. To my point when does relevance mean you are going to perform at something like this?Forget Sting. He's not relevant to @jadillac's point.
Answer his question and you'll find out what he's talking about.
I'm talking about Jadillac's point, NOT the relevance of the performerNas isn't relevant and he did the intro or whatever. To my point when does relevance mean you are going to perform at something like this?
I'm talking about his point too.I'm talking about Jadillac's point, NOT the relevance of the performer![]()
The turning point was the Malice at the Palace. Stern tried to scrub all evidence of hiphop influence after that brawl.I sometimes sit back and laugh at how basketball used hip hop in all it's videos, arenas, highlight shows, etc...all through the 90s until about the early 00's. Then when they started making cats wear suits, they distanced themselves from it entirely all to please a segment of the population who believe NBA players are thugs but the statistics show otherwise.
Jew Silver loves the negro audience bringing in the ratings but doesn't want to acknowledge their existence, that's why they got fukking Stang performing![]()

Nas isn't relevant
Unless we're in an early 2000 time machine, Nas will always be relevant
Sidenote: Do y'all want Joey Bada$$ and Future performing there?
Nas isn't relevant and hasn't been since ether
