We don't shut up on here so how are we being silenced?

Unless we are being voluntarily silent in the real world:martin:

Surely you should have enough respect among the people in your own family where the opinions of homosexuals and random feminist don't completely drown out your influence.

It's a personal problem if that is not the case. Alot of us need to get in better standing with our families. We come on here and give unwarranted advice to strangers til the cows come home. Yet won't pick up the phone to call family to see if they are okay and need someone to talk to. Then we turn around and get upset when they don't want to hear what we have to say, at the moment that we picked to be self righteous and give our opinion.

If every man and woman counseled ,and took to task the men and women of their own families,we wouldn't need random celebrities and t.v characters to do it on our behalf:snoop:.

So are you deliberately deflecting or are just too stupid to understand the point? I ask because you tried to dismiss the validity of the point being made in this thread, but after the first sentence you went on to deflect from the point of the thread as if it’s unimportant. So do you deny that there are steps taken to deny a voice to the straight black male perspective in mainstream society, or do you acknowledge it but just don’t think that it’s inportant?

Those c00ns and their racist white masters have taken the mantle of cointelpro have been trying to create beef between straight black men and other black people while pretending to go against misogyny and homophobia.

Ex Straight black men are the white people of black people.

^ A statement that takes the spotlight off of racist whites and creates internal beef as well.

Being a straight Black Man in 2018 is harder than being a gay one #fact
You may be onto something. I saw this awhile back and meant to post it. It looks like there is a disadvantage to being straight on the job scene.

And when the LGBT applicants are black men—a group that has experienced a well-documented disadvantage (paywall) on the jobs market—the results can be even more striking. New research by the Princeton University sociologist David Pedulla, published in March in Social Psychology Quarterly (paywall), suggests that for black male applicants, coming out may actually result in a higher starting salary.
Coming out on your resume? Great idea, especially if you’re black

The coli has no reach outside of the coli. We are not painting narratives in the media being disseminated around the world.

Thats fair globally but I think we need to be worried about black people here since nobody else does, including other blacks globally seeing those images and narratives.

Black men are more likely to be blue collar than non-black men on average.

Black-Male-Occupations.jpg

:jbhmm:

Not sure if I'm reading this chart right. OP said that he wanted to hear more of a perspective from the average blue collar black man. I wasn't sure if he was saying that he simply wanted to hear more from that perspective because its representative of him and the men that he knows or because he thinks the average black man is blue collar.

So my question was, is the average black man blue collar, not if black men were more likely compared to other races to be blue collar. Those are two different questions.

But according to your chart, more black men are white collar. Which could also mean that we can make a correlation to education levels and lifestyle.

I only bring up the point because the OP appears to be tired of the dominant narrative and how the media caters to a certain narrative. Most middle-class and educated people will be a bit more tolerant and accepting of gays and their rights than blue collar and lower class people (not true always, especially when you include the religion factor). So if there is a predominance of middle-class men and women in the black community, rightly or wrongly, those are going to be the people that carry the narrative and that is what the mainstream media is going to cater to.

False

Mainstream media doesn’t cater to black people at all. It doesn’t care about our population nor class. It’s main focus is to paint us all as criminal no matter how high we rise.

The mainstream media caters to white men only.

I think its a good idea for black men to have separate movements because I'm tired of hearing black men complain about child support, divorce settlements, child custody, false rape allegations & domestic violence double standards and doing nothing about it. Dudes are quick to get on social media to complain about double standards but won't go to court.

Edit: I mean I see black men complain about child support and being kept away from their kids. But I don't see a lot of these same men going to court about it. Tyrese did all that crying about paying $13,000 a month and not being about to see his kid, then skipped a few visits to see his daughter. Then come to find out he is making $100,000 a month. Master P went on several tv shows calling his ex-wife a drug addicted, neglectful, bad mom but when it was time to go to court to get custody he didnt show up.

But on the other side I know plenty of good hard working black men who get lumped in with the bad ones. But by not sticking to together and not fighting for your rights the good ones get treated the same or worse than the bad ones. Guys who have to pay for a kid that's not theres all because they signed the birth certificate or a chick gave them name as the father. But then you have guys with 20+ kids paying nothing or very little child support, never see the kid. Black men and women for that matter need to have better spokes people. Becuase most news station hand pick gay, p*ssy whipped dudes, or sell outs to speak for the black men when they want an opinion. Just like Donald Trump he had a bunch of sell outs and desperate black people to meet at the white house, then had the press waiting to snap pics when they got done.
In my perfect world, a hetero black male movement would be above bytching about "baby mama" issues and out of wedlock children issues. Id like to detach from that bullshyt culture, I dont associate with it.

You victim-complex weirdos live in a fantasy world.
Do you think a hetero movement of black men uniting would be a good or bad thing? I dont need an explanation, just a yes or a no....
