I was a fool, saying we should blow it up, but they gonna let the old fizzle out, use demar as a trade piece or keep him as a veteran for future young players, and build around this core. I can't believe I doubted this front office. Shoutout to pop for staying strong like a mofo.

This is a dude who after he had the most team success he ever had...asked for a trade...

This is a dude who made the all star team...needed to get minor knee surgery...but wouldn't do it until AFTER he went to the all star game to shoot the ball twice...then he missed the next game and we lost...

I think it's a very specific reason in all the player interviews they talk about LMA having to "buy in"...

To his credit, he appears to have bought in. His minutes have been more sporadic, but appears to be engaged on the bench and hyping up the youngins.

Problem is, his value is likely at an all-time low right now. I think the only team that would pay above-average value for him would be Portland, but they don't really have the contracts to make it work (I'd base any deal around Nurkic).
