Lonnie is being more aggressive and I like his game.
If I have a small concern it is that Murray might be playing himself into the 2nd unit.

He has had games where he looks like a legitimate NBA starter, but he's very inconsistent. He's had some awful shooting games, even if I love his rebounding and defensive tenacity at times.

If Derrick White continues to improve and heal and reclaims his starting PG spot...and Walker keeps playing well...there just isn't anywhere for Murray to play on the starting unit.

I don't like the idea of moving Murray to SG and Walker to SF. That's too small -- even for small ball rotations. But correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit - What I mean is, White/Walker/DeRozan would arguably be the starting rotation

Remember, DeRozan will still be a PF when he returns. That lineup works against 90% of the rosters out there (Lakers being an exception with their size).

White's constant injuries seem to point to him being a bench guy just to manage his minutes. Plus, he has a tendency to fade into the background on offense at times. Running with the second unit places him as the go-to scorer (Mills/White/Vassell/Rudy/Poetl).

The depth suddenly looks crazy good. We need to turn Lyles (through trade) into into a more serviceable big than Eubanks.

Murray has been playing really well lately. His play in the 4th qtr last night won us the game and he's cut down the senseless turnovers a lot. A rotation of murray/white/Walker/derozan/Aldridge can work...that's basically what they ran with in the bubble.

My nitpick is with Lonnie. Dude has all the skills to be dominant on offense but he isn't consistent when attacking the basket. I hate when he gets in the paint for a dunk/layup or a foul and passes out of it:francis:
