Oil Industry jobs usually pay well but the thing is MFs from Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, etc all be coming work for the Oil Companies too and then going back home when they are off so the money isn't all staying in the local economy

I can understand Arkansas and maybe bama, but don’t all the other states already have booming oil industries? With the exception of your specialists(petro engineers, Corp mgmt, etc), what would motivate the relocation to LA? Don’t tell me this tax theft is actually got LA wages higher than TX and AL...


If so, then is it just an issue of access to those jobs making a chicken or egg problem where taxes are needed to train people for jobs, but those job’s need to be taxed in order to get the revenue to train people in the first place
