Yeah it's grimey. Kronke cheap ass might have shut out championship window
I don’t think it’s too big a deal in the short term tbh. The core is already in place, Calvin Booth just needs to find a new starting SG and sign some vets for the minimum, and we’re a contender.

Where it’s gonna hurt is once jok retires and MPJ and Jamal leave. If there’s one thing Tim Connelly is great at, it’s building a core with limited resources. Would’ve been valuable post-Jokic.

It’s fukk the kroenkes, but I really can’t blame them too much for not matching minny’s offer. They offered that man an ownership stake.

Anyone happy with the draft? Seems to me like they just lit the last assets they had to improve over the next couple of years on fire.

It was stupid, they need a big guard to play next to Murray and they grabbed two wings one of which is going to be in the g-league next year. And we still have Malone on the bench so no matter what talent you give him he is going to mismanage because his lineups suck

Say more. Not sure what you mean. I really don’t watch enough college ball these days to have any kind of strong opinion. Also with Malone, he seems to loathe playing rookies and young guys unless there are injuries.

because of other teams owning our future picks, the only picks we had to trade were the two first rounders from yesterday, and the first in 2029. Won’t be able to trade 2031 for another couple of years. With all of Josh kroenke’s “championship or bust” talk, I figured they would be using picks to get an upgrade at the 2, instead, they used both picks. Now that leaves us with just the 2029 first to use in a trade for the next couple of years.

Malone loves that bum Barton. We aren’t winning anything as long as he is the head coach

We’re giving up the best player in the deal with Monte Morris

Only upside I can see right away is Bones getting more time

I don’t know about this one brehs

Let me preface by saying I'm not a Nuggets fan

This is an ideal trade for Denver bc they get a 3&D guy who can defend the tougher backcourt assignments as Murray works his way back from injury

KCP will defend Steph, Ja, Mitchell, Book, Fox, Luka, Dame, etc...all while not needing no more than 10 shots a night

Also opens up a role for Bones as bonafide 6th man
