The fact that anybody is happy, or excited to see other people suffer will always be wild to me. The “student loan” industry, much like the “medical insurance” industry is completely predatory, and there are absolutely no “good guys” in it! My wife’s student loans were forgiven because of disability, and excelsior covered 95% of my daughters student loans, so I have no horse in the race, except realizing how hard it is for people out here right now, and this was something that made their life just a little bit easier. Anybody happy about this should seriously [REDACT] themselves

How you stand behind someone like the police and chirp in their ear about “oh, you better pay that loan back! You gonna get it now, lol”? That’s just being a dikkhead to be a dikkhead! You have no idea what reason people do what they do, and even though a small % might, the vast majority aren’t happy about taking out these loans in the first place, and if fukking education wasn’t so god damn expensive, just another example in this country of the “haves vs the have nots”, nobody would have to take out a mortgage loan to sit in a fukking classroom to learn!
