MFs ain't ready for that conversation :skip:. Stay up until 2, 3 in the morning not doing a goddamn thing, and then complain about having to wake up to go to work. If you know you can't change the time you have to wake up, change the time you go to bed :unimpressed:

What you don't understand is people stay up because it's their only real free time. Just think, you get off at 4 and get home by 430. Start cooking dinner by 5, done eating by 6. I didn't even mention the gym, so it's either after work or before work.

You got like 3 measly hours leftover to do whatever which ain't shyt.

Wake up 15 mins before u left for work?

How did u even get your hygiene routine done in time?

The bathroom is right next to my room, i lay out my clothes the night before. so when i wake up, i wash my face & i hop right in the shower... :manny: showers shouldnt take you that damned long :mjlol:

It takes me 10 mins just to wash my face

I wake up 2 hours before i leave in the morning regardless of how early I have to be somewhere

shyt feels more refreshing to be awake fully and complete what i need to without a rush before leaving

If i have to leave by 4am

I literally will wake up at 2

I'm against the 40 hour workweek no matter what time it starts period. If you don't have a quota, most people bullshyt 25+ hours of those 40 hours anyway.

This!

Depending on your roll, in IT, you can work 6 strong hours a week and get paid for 40 and do it for years long as you complete what's needed and not being micro managed and Covid/work from home made it even easier.

The issue isn't what time people work. That's how they pull the wool over people's eyes.

I suppose sunlight plays a role, but the primary issue is the number of hours you get to sleep. Now if you work from 10 to 6 or from 8 to 4, the number of hours sleep you get will not change.

It is theoretically a matter of going to bed earlier later.

Why I say the problem is the number of hours is that most people don't get enough sleep because they lose so much time to travel, work and errands. They end up staying up late to hold enjoy a little bit of life.

Drop the working day from 7 hours to 5, you will the improvement.

9am is late, that’s basically the afternoon. Working after 3pm is what’s terrible.

So I had been working at home during the pandemic, it was fun while it lasted but it made me a EXTREMELY lazy. That came to an end... somewhat and I got this corporate IT job in a downtown high rise.....

Yesterday they told me that if I'm late one more time I'm fired. So now Im going to bed at 9pm. This early morning shyt aint it but if I can make it 2-3 more weeks I get my regular evening shift

I thoroughly enjoyed my 4pm-12am shift at the hospital.

but i also had no kids or a steady gf. I was never late and always had energy to work.

ppl really have to prioritize sleep.
