I believe it. Add young kids, stress, etc you not getting much quality sleep.
Literally one of the reasons I'm having second thoughts about being a parent. In this day and age I think the only way I could pull it off well is if me and my spouse both work part time.

You wake up early, try to get your kids to wake up early, drive them to school if they don't have a bus, then you have to drive to the office. Rush your work so you can try to get home at a reasonable hour. God help you if you get a call from the school.

You have to then spend time in traffic, time making sure your kids do their homework or get to their extra curricular activities, then you have to make sure they eat and clean up, then you have to prompt them to go to sleep and make sure they're not trying to stay up. By the time its all said and done you've spent maybe 2 hours total doing anything you might want to or something just for you.

I work a 9-5 and I'm drained when I get home. Can't imagine how single or divorced parents do this shyt. Even with a partner the shyt is still hard if you can't get jobs where yall aren't working at the same times and days.

I wake up to a kid screaming virtually every day. It’s tough no doubt. The most difficult thing I’ve ever done is raise a kid. It’s also the most rewarding thing but don’t plan on sleeping when you have young kids. I don’t know how single parents do it.

I really can’t stand these “work harder” mf’s given the context of this situation..
Don't know if you agree or disagree with me.

This article is literally saying that getting up at 9 am is akin' to torture.. bruh what?!

I'm pretty sure most animals are awake by sunrise.

So that's like 6-7 am not 9.

I learned the best/perfect work schedule for me was around 11AM-7PM

I could still come home and do my night owl shyt and go to bed at 1-3 AM and easily get at least 7 hours sleep

Yeah but then you have no Summer or Spring:gucci::dahell:You busy working while yo folks kicking it at the beach and the park

Dam she is lucky, my company briefly tried a voluntary return where staff could chose to come in…you can imagine how that went.:francis: Me and one of the other managers at work were discussing what will happen when companies mandate that it is a requirement that staff return. We speculate that over 80% or more will call in sick that first week. People are just not used to the hustle and bustle lifestyle, you will have to gradually phase them back into it. Meaning some days in the office and some at home to appease the workforce.

They at least need to make it 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH, I think that works for everybody. Hell even 1 day at home would be nice.
