It fluctuates from one month to the next :manny: Dre is up there to.

The point is there are enough wealthy black people to at least try and buy franchises but it's not working. The mentality isn't there. Black peoples have been conditioned to become wealthy as ball players or entertainers. As long as there are mostly white owners they will continue to hire people that look and act like them.

And college ball is where it's starts. Which brings me back to black players choosing white schools over HBCU's. That's where a lot of these white coaches get started in the first place. So if they're already recruiting and coaching the best black players why wouldn't they get positions to coach them at the pro level. Black players or at least the majority of them are comfortable looking up to white coaches.

Only one of them that can own a team is Oprah really. The rest don't really have the kind of dough required. Look at how much team owners are worth...they're billionaires several times over. Jerry Jones worth 4+ Billion.

Not only that, but most of that list DOES see the value in ownership.

I don't have to read this article to know that it's totally ludicrous that we have damn near ZERO black offensive head coaches or coordinators. they treat black coaches like they did black QB's back in the day. yeah, they can coach defense, but when it's time to coach the QB or be an OC, all of a sudden, it's like :whoa:

This is across the board in all sports too, not just the nfl. For all the talk of how things have changed most white people don't seem comfortable with blacks actually leading a team, regardless of how qualified they may be.

It's not that easy to own a pro team if you black. I believe a black guy tried to buy the Angels a decade ago, but MLB made him jump through hoops.

Yeah what y'all fail to realize is having money is simply not enough. The Owners have to vote you in and approve of you to own a team and join their "good ol boy club". Ask @Originalman he can speak on it.

So you want them to buy a franchise just to say they did?

Hue Jackson is an OC. Pep was this season too. Trying to think of who else is an OC. Edgar Bennett (Packers), Harold Goodwin (Cards). Not many. I don't think either of those dudes have the free reign that Hue has though.

They don't have sports owner money and how many teams have been up for sale? It's not a factory producing goods it's not a car lot where you can build it and sell your own. It's 30 products and until the owner of the product wants to sell then you can't buy.
Besides owning a sports team is your side hobby income not your main source of income.
And I find it hard to believe that that list is accurate because I see nothing but entertainers on there and I find it hard to believe all the richest blacks are strictly entertainment based.
