Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Bro, how many times are these non-gangsters gonna regurgitate this "if you a civilian you can't be a snitch" shyt? Okay already, lol, how many times does it need to be said by a rapper? And gangsters don't have moral compasses, they don't care if it's a civilian...if said civilian can or does get them jammed up they are gonna handle them the same way, no imaginary code of ethics is stopping that. I get his point but it's based on fantasy.

But salute to him for paying for people to take the police entrance test and all the other things he was touching on regarding bettering the community and the kids and living legitimately, all that part was fire. We complain about how fukked up and racist the police are but then shun any of our own people who want to be police, make it make sense please.

It's sad that rappers need to be 45+ before they realize that all this stupid gangster bullshyt is corny and counterproductive, I figured that out when I was half his age,
:palm:. Never too late to grow the fukk up tho, salute to SP.

the issue here is when it’s brought up these gay gangsters say only if you in the street do rules apply and then when the camera is off they attack civilians

At some point serious Black people gotta get away from this stupid shyt and start talking about something that actually matters. Cause this shyt don’t. How many more lives must be fukked off before we get it together?

Most of the people who sit around listening to shyt like this ain’t in the streets and are never gonna be. And real street nikkas ain’t sitting around on camera discussing any “codes.”

1. Civilians can be snitches. And if a civilian snitch on someone’s whose active it is what it is cause

2. it comes with the lifestyle. Everyone snitches. Rats, fiends, friends, nikkas from the same set and it is what it is cause

3. The possibiiity of it happens comes with the lifestyle

And we gotta stop with the acting like snitching only is frowned upon when you bang.

if you snitch in the military, police force, on coworkers, and in business people will not fukk with you, my wife is 42 bravo in the military and she’s dealt with whistleblowers and the consequences of it. Straight horror stories

He's right. That was all real shyt.

Problem these days is, real OG's don’t really exist anymore. True OG's back in the day taught you the code. Not just how to handle yourself accordingly, but also put you on to how to view certain things and what not to do. There's no guidance out there right now. So the way these dudes do shyt, is always mad reckless and just dumb, for a lack of a better word. You even see a lot of dudes on here repeating that stupid shyt. They haven't been taught properly. And they're not around the kind of people that can really guide them on how to carry themselves. This past generation missed out on that big-time.

Look what the industry and a lot of rappers try to do to De La Soul and Public Enemy....outright tried to erase their history in Hip Hop altogether and claimed that positive music dont have a lifelong following

Yea there’s a whole lot of artists who they brushed under the rug too. At least Public Ememy made some noise last year too with the album they dropped.

For real. Generation after generation of promotion of ignorance. It was a new and exciting thing back in the 70s and 80s, but now that "excitement" of being ratchet has ran its course, historically. :beli:

And have the audacity to say on the throwback hour on rap radio "no such thing existed, so stop asking for it!" :skip:

It’s cause it doesn’t attract listeners. People love negativity and drama. They don’t like positivity or motivational stuff. Hope it changes cause if it doesn’t now it never will.
