Salute to all the brothers who matured young…I personally stopped being “stupid” at like 20…I was over it, did everything dumb a young man could do…I felt 40 at 20 😆. For others it takes longer. Of course these 45+ rappers feel like f’n idiots spewing all that bullshh that they did to the babies…at least the ones with a heart, shh was poison period. Salute to Styles tho, I see he tries…he’s been maturing for a while now, gotta respect it.

Rap teaches you how to be a boy extremely well..if you wanna know how to be a boy mentally then this is the place. Teaching you how to be a man, a good man…that’s the part that’s very hard to find…the ones who was teaching you how to be a dumb child all them years don’t start trying to tell you that all of that was stupid until they like 50 they damn selves smh lol. Salute to SP tho, Kiss kinda be on that energy now too

Styles is right.

I've said the same on here mad times. Dudes stopped leading and became followers themselves. You see it in Hip Hop and in real life. People in their late 30's and early 40's trying to be accepted by people 1/2 their age. There's no more real OG's, so this generation doesn't have any real leadership, at all.

In the 90's, a lot of the legends had OG's who would direct them away from the bullsh*t. Today, the older dudes are out there acting up right along with the younger generation. Sh*t is wild.

Broken homes, poverty, and drugs play a bigger role. That's not saying that hip hop doesn't influence things but it's a convenient scapegoat that allows people to overlook the bigger factors.

Plenty of hoods in the 1970's and 1980's were rampant with crime, drug dealing, theft, and murder for similar reasons unrelated to rap.

the mistake is rap teaching you anything... it's entertainment. did your parents not learn you any better?

Styles, Sheek, and Jada had cats doin Drive-Bys and pulling kickdoes to their stuff...

They were the representatives for the prisons.

One thing about Styles that I can respect is how he always mixed it up. He always talked about the bad side of street life.

His first album is a stark example of this.

It's crazy how he had a skit about throwing a nikka off the roof too.

I mean they kinda did preach those things lol…. shyt just switched and folks started letting shyt fly.

Pretty much...

As long as u have money, you can get away with shyt.

Nowadays, u have cats accepting a million dollar feature from a rat who was caught dead on the stand snitching. In The Lox's day, there was some integrity though.

I keep telling mafukkas that Gen X and Millennials the worst parents of all time!

Gen X raised these Gen Z heads. Talk about a crash dummy generation raising another crash dummy gen.

SP The Ghost is right. A lot of people his age group were absent parents and hate that their kids are grown and have no guidance.
