Gen X raised these Gen Z heads. Talk about a crash dummy generation raising another crash dummy gen.

SP The Ghost is right. A lot of people his age group were absent parents and hate that their kids are grown and have no guidance.

almost all of my crew keeps the kids close 2 the hip......I could shed a tear when we all link up.....these young Gz incredible we're raising :blessed:

They dropped the ball in regards of selling the labels and brands they all owned. Their generation should be the executives controlling the narrative of the culture right now

Styles, Sheek, and Jada had cats doin Drive-Bys and pulling kickdoes to their stuff...

They were the representatives for the prisons.

One thing about Styles that I can respect is how he always mixed it up. He always talked about the bad side of street life.

His first album is a stark example of this.

It's crazy how he had a skit about throwing a nikka off the roof too.
Much more balanced than Sheek or Jada. He's always talked about being respectful in interviews. I was thinking about that voicemail intro to My Brother (best song on the album IMO). "Please be considerate and leave a nice message."

For some reason that song was taken off of the Tidal version. I'm never going to be able to throw away all these CDs.

Amen... cats look at me funny when I don't wanna spend my hard earned money on a streaming service. I'm like "I ain't Finna have my favorite songs taken off due to lyrics or sample clearances"

No wonder he named his album "A Gangster and a Gentleman".

Styles told a good story on the title track too. The fact that his Momma couldn't get him the Adidas that he wanted, made him wanna hustle harder.

They would have never been signed to a major label in the first place if they were telling the black youth "don't be a criminal, reading & writing is cool and don't spend all your money on BS".

That's not how it works.

Rap music is now a weapon of white supremacy and uses black puppets with a cool image to sell an irresponsible and overall destructive lifestyle to the black youth.

He's free to try to spread those messages now but the youth couldn't care less about a 50+ year old Styles P.

It’s cool to hear him have that thought process, but Gen Z is perfectly fine being proudly ignorant. That’s practically a gimmick to them, something previous generations didn’t take pride in. Previous generations also were willing to actually look up history despite it not being nearly easy to access as today. Present gen has every single opportunity and device available to educate themselves on any and everything, and they purposely don’t because that seems to be cool to them.
