I keep telling mafukkas that Gen X and Millennials the worst parents of all time!
As Gen X, I say all the time that we pushed so hard to get the bag and have a better life than the way we grew up, that we left so many important aspects behind. We completely moved away from the "community" of the hood, and were far too busy providing a life that being attentive was lost. We basically raised the celebrity-esque kids we once mocked. The hustle became too prominent

What did Pac say "although we had it rough, we always had enough."

They would have never been signed to a major label in the first place if they were telling the black youth "don't be a criminal, reading & writing is cool and don't spend all your money on BS".

That's not how it works.

Rap music is now a weapon of white supremacy and uses black puppets with a cool image to sell an irresponsible and overall destructive lifestyle to the black youth.

He's free to try to spread those messages now but the youth couldn't care less about a 50+ year old Styles P.

Yeah, its a damn shame that he waited long past his prime fame years in order for him to mature on his message. In 2024, he's just another middle aged rapper with no "rizz" and out of touch with the trends, according to Gen Z. Too many rappers don't bother to smarten up until they get multiple flops or getting dropped from a major label.

True, but they doubled down on the superthug shyt and convinced a lot of people who I grew up with to be "thoro" to do dirt, and going to jail as a badge of honor. One point, a lot of small independent studios won't let you in if you weren't deep in the streets or had a jail record, regardless of your lyrical ability.

If this is true, then this site is an agent for them. :manny:

Bingo

As also Gen X

we became runners.. running away from the problems and issues in the community and instead of focus on staying and improving our community and fighting the crime in our areas we ran away from it to be in the suburbs..

I definitely caught all the game from the LOX and Styles, Kiss

"now he just like everybody with the same ol plans, can't get over the hump with the same ol' grams"

"streets is ya girl treat it like ya life, you can flirt with drugs but don't hit the pipe"
