Idk about that he’s been in multiple movies that have been nominated or won Oscar’s . Million dollar baby , the hurt locker , notorious, then he started the marvel stuff . As a black male actor he should have been given roles that others have probably given . And honestly he’s versatile enough I can mentally stick him in a role for a black or white man and he would fit . Why has he got a Bourne identity? A Django ? A fast and furious ?

Again, he wasn't the lead in any of those films, and even if you want to say Notorious that film wasn't well received in its day. Even then with the Oscars you don't just need to have the performance of your lifetime, you've got to be better than hundreds of other performances.

Look at the NBA. There are millions of young men around the world who are NBA level. If they aren't seen by the people who can recruit them, they'll never make it into the NBA. They could have the genetics, they could have the talent, but if they aren't at the right place and at the right time, they won't get in.

There are only a certain number of people they can let into the NBA. It's mathematically impossible for them to review everyone's footage or travel down to see them.
