You buggin Snoop constantly released quality albums that all went platinum or better up until 07-08. He stayed with a big radio hit and backyard BBQ classics. He still releases good albums right now he just stays in his lane and has the respect of nearly all of hip hop. I like WC but him and Snoop are in 2 totally different classes. He may not be top 10 to most but Snoop will never leave my personal top 5 been listening to him since I was in 8th grade when Deep Cover dropped.

Very rarely would you see Snoops name in that list and to add to it he even added lyricist and you know he not touching the top 20 there and I fukkS wit Snoop. Truth is the truth but if you say most recognizable rappers you’d definitely have to put him up there. There are people who know who Snoop is and don’t even know that he’s a rapper. Would be crazy to think but I bet you that people in other countries don’t know that, shyt in a couple years my grandson will probably know who Snoop is but will not know he’s a rapper, he’s transcended that at this point

I was a baby in real time but I did the knowledge on all that when I got older, Snoop def was buzzing from the Deep Cover verse and all that…he added to the hype no doubt, but I don’t think he added to the quality personally…you can argue that tho

He’s not a Top 50 rapper, . He had writers his entire career…why is this even a discussion? He’s a Top 3-5 rap superstar ever…being “top” something implies you’re one of the best…he’s not one of the best rappers. I know it feels foul to say but it’s true, deal with it man, lol.
