Summer of 2002 Styles and AZ had the hottest albums out. Nelly had 2 summer bangers with "Hot in Here" and "Dilema." Ems 3rd album was overhyped. Rumors were circulating that Jay Z and Bey were an item. Also summer 2002 was when KRS took an L trying to battle Nelly. The bootleggers had the R Kelly sex tape on display like it wasnt illegal. Nas sh*tted on Summer Jam which would cause Jim Jones to invent the word "Kufi Smacker."

I graduated in May...and was in Queens, NY at St. John's in the fall...as Nasty Nas would say, Life was good for ya boy.
You couldn't tell me nothin in 02 bout music or life, freshly 18 and had just got my braces off in January of 02...damn I thought I was invincible...Great fukking year musically and personally
