How is one's life radically different in a Biden presidency than a Trump one? :jbhmm: College is still unaffordable, a real universal healthcare system isn't in place, income inequality is still a problem. These "clowns" are going to need to be convinced if we don't want another Hillary situation.

So Trump flooding the courts with a bunch of racist judges that'll be there for life (and probably strike down any future attempts at universal healthcare) won't effect anybody's life? Ignoring climate change (which is literally an existential threat to human civilization) won't affect anybody? Isolating the US from the rest of the world won't have any long-term effects?

I'm no Biden fan but I really struggle to respect this "I'm going to stay home" shyt that people on the left are always on.

Why not do both? Have better policies and do the outreach to needed to make people both understand that and familiarize themselves with you. I know why Liz failed here, she’s not the name Biden nor Bernie is, but after 16, Bernie had the money, power (ground game), and 4 years to make this closer. He made inroads with black voters elsewhere, I fully believe harder push could’ve eroded more of Biden’s firewall down there
It's not like black folks weren't open to Bernie. He dropped the ball. :manny:

I think you're missing what's happening here.

You have a candidate in Joe Biden that's basically saying he's not trying to court you. That he's trying to appeal to moderate dems, never Trump Republicans, and moderate independents.

And he's winning. Why would he try and court the people who wouldn't show up for Bernie. :gucci:

He's literally winning telling you to vote for someone else if you don't like him. :pachaha:
Yep. He did. He said fukk us progressives pretty resoundingly and the Democratic party has said that as well.

Lets see how that gamble pays off

12+ people dapped the post below from last night, including our resident mod @tru_m.a.c .

I hate how a third of the party has been hijacked by these clowns. It's why I have a hard time fully respecting their movement - too many sketchy anarchists/accelerationists types in their ranks that I do not trust.
Agreed

I can’t get jiggy with that shyt.

Progressives need a better candidate than Bernie. He's all we got right now. None of these candidates are really gonna do jack shyt for black people specifically but many of his policies would benefit black people. For us to turn our backs on that for Joe Biden. So disappointing.
Brehs need to wake up and start looking at policy and stop voting based on who was friends with the cool people they know. Same shyt mfs did 4 years ago with that jackass Hillary Clinton.

If the Dems elect Biden to debate, this is the strategy:

1. Point at Biden
2. “NAFTA”
3. ????
4. Win

Despite all that, my life under Trump doesn't feel much different than with Obama. Why would people be excited to replace Trump with Trump-lite. Just stating the facts about how a lot of people are feeling.

Cut the BS man. You guys have to stop basically being the mouthpiece for white centrists and liberals. Black voters vote on name recognition and how much they like you. By black voters I mean older black people and largely women. Obama himself said Kerry in 04 hadn’t won over the “hearts and minds” of black people and we all knew what he meant. Al Sharpton won a substantial portion of the black vote in the south that year and he had no chance of being president. We need to have a real conversation and what you’re doing now is the root of all the progressive fire at you guys this entire election. You’re gaslighting us and basically acting as a spin machine for the Democratic Party and baby boomer voters on a forum of left-leaning millennials and gen z. People are not trying to hear this nonsense as if we aren’t black ourselves and we don’t interact with older black voters everyday. Joe Biden has quite literally done nothing for black peoples but be friends with Obama. Warren had plans and used intersectional language and had no leeway. Steyer brought up reparations and went nowhere. Sanders had every black activist in the south backing him along with black lives matter and black academia. It made no difference. Stop gaslighting us man. This is the shyt that makes people not vote. You’re insulting our intelligence.

So you're life isn't any worse, but you're hanging your hat on a revolution?

That's not how it works.

Crazy, but @the cac mamba is going to come out of this looking rational

Democrats can win without both.

Not 1 South or Midwest state has gone blue in 20+ years

Historical Presidential Election Map Timeline

I'm all in with whoever performs the best in the swing States.
i think your definition of the midwest is different than everyone elses. these are midwestern states that dems have won recently: ohio, michigan, indiana, illinois, minnesota, wisconsin, iowa and missouri.

and in the south there is virginia, north carolina and florida.

i'd be be interested in seeing your regional maps.
