Dean Cain is the only Superman actor to not be fully White (I think he's a quarter Japanese or something like that) but yet he's probably the most racist one

Interesting. I thought the non superman characters were cool for being in one superman movie. Supergirl is the only character I'd have any interest in seeing a movie about right now though, and that's only because of how she was portrayed in the film, seems like her movie might have some fukkery in it. Like Green Lantern as a comedy relief character is fine when he in a superman movie for 13 minutes. Absolutely no way I would ever watch a Green Lantern character portrayed like this as a whole feature film though, you'd have to completely change the character and probably just straight up get a new actor. Same thing with Mr Terrific. Being a one note a sexual black dude smarter than everyone else is fine in someone else super hero movie. No way I want to see a story revolving around this character if this is the way he going to be portrayed though. And if you portray them different then what was the point of them in this movie.1. I dont think anyone saw it hitting VOD so soon.
2. I've always felt that long as it did good critically/WOM, BO doesnt matter. I understood how Snyder shyt soured the Superman/DCU shyt.

The GL in this movie was Guy Gardner. The main GL of the DCU will be John Stewart (played by Aaron Pierre). Stewart will make his DCU debut on the show Lanterns in early 2026.

Did you not understand my post? There are multiple Green Lanterns but John Stewart will be the main one. Stewart just hasn't made his DCU debut yet.
The Lanterns show will be his DCU debut (along with Hal Jordan). The show is coming out in early 2026.

Anyway, it's not really confusing. You'll get used to it. It's like this movie, there were multiple heroes in Superman but Superman was the main character.
I loved the George Lucas approach (Gunn's words) of dropping us into an already established Superhero universe and not explaining everything
Alot of people said they were tired of origin stories. But seems like alot of people do need to see the entire origin . I keep seeing the "it felt like a sequel" comments

I actually agree with this to be honest. What the hell does Superman have to do with immigrants? not sure if he even made the script as a means to push his agenda about immigrants. But if not,why push your agenda after the film is made just because you can somehow find a parallel? Just sort of muddys up the dialogue unnecessarily.
Plus once he did that,folks started looking at the Boravia thing as an agenda against israel. So then that became a thing.

Like we know who the X Men represent despite them being mutants. But supermans issues have nothing to do with his immigration status. Its the fact he could punch earth in half if he felt like it.
