Going today at 7. Heard great things about it so I’m excited
I could put the Donner Cut over Returns some days,it hits higher highs but also lower lows for me than most of those movies in the middle.If I were to grade them, Superman is a 10/10, II: Donner Cut is like an 8/10 for me. The others I mentioned are in between.

A bit too much comedy for my liking, but they really nailed the character that Superman is. Very colorful cast of characters and the tone of the movie was very uplifting

I said when the trailers were released I was worried the movie looked too cartoonish. Now that I've seen it it was exactly that and then some

Mr. Terrific probably had the best action scene in the movie and he was cool. He had a decent amount of screen time.
Good casting for Superman.
No lie I'm struggling to think about something else I clearly liked. I might edit if I think of something.
Things that were just okay:
Guy wasn't as funny as I was expecting. He didn't really do anything cool with his powers which was a letdown since I like the lanterns.
Hawkgirl was just there. She didn't get to do much.
I'm undecided on Lois. Didn't feel strongly about her good or bad.
Dislikes:
Lex was over the top cartoonish and annoying. Jesse was horribly miscast and goofy. The casting may be better this time but I hate how he was written and he's possibly goofier. I don't want to get into details this soon but there's some things he does that are flat out silly and I don't know what Gunn was thinking.

There's barely any time spent with Clark and I think there's only one scene with him at work. It made the Daily Planet characters feel tacked on. The Bunk didn't do anything. They're just a complete waste and Jimmy Olsen has a plotline that's so dumb and unnecessary it had me cringing
The Engineer was a boring villain and her CGI was bad. Ultraman was whatever.
Hated:
Eve is terrible character.
There's a lot going on in this movie and it's not tied together well. The jokes (there's a lot) didn't hit at all and I don't think I laughed once. The 3rd act is a typical CGI fest.
