So movie theaters aren't in decline? They have been for years :mjlol: People wanna hate but when they get called on facts they lose their mind

Also, China has been completely dead. Hollywood tentpoles used to get $200-300M in China alone. If you want to talk box office, do the bare minimum and look at the landscape
Queued up.

But when hits HIT, you know they come out

I'ma have to watch this again when I get off work. Saw it in the movies last night at 8:15.....after a fat ass blunt of some good-good and a glass of screwball mixed with mango passion fruit :wow:
When Clark got to work at the Daily Planet, I could feel the heaviness in my eyelids creeping in. I was in and out the whole flick.
I left feeling it was mid. The theater was packed, but none of the jokes landed. I mean none. I never heard 1 chuckle. I could tell Mr. Terrific was supposed to be dropping ill lines but.....crickets. Only me and my shorty chuckled when he said "Hey man I know you aint bring that damn dog!"
3.5 for now....could go up after I watch Cam version later. Funny it's usually the other way around. Happened for Sinners!

Movie did a good job, especially considering this was the first film for this new DCEU. Everything with Krypto you either love it or hate it. So I could see for some him being a con in the film.

Still, it got you invested regarding family pretty well on Superman's end. Nicholas Hoult was great as Lex Luthor. I really liked David Corenswet as Superman here. It really sold that Superman just wanted to save people, which was important.

While it could have been better, but it got superman right imo. Hopefully DCEU can keep the momentum because Marvel needs good competition.

YOU ALREADY POINTED OUT
LEX HAD THE LOCATION AT
THAT POINT SO THAT WAS IRRELEVANT.

:mjlol:YOU LITERALLY MADE UP
"SUPERMAN IS FASTER THAN ULTRAMAN"
JUST TO DEFEND shytTY WRITING
EVEN THOUGH ITS CLEAR ULTRAMAN
WAS MORE ENHANCED THAN KAL EL
BUT DUMBER.

THEY LET SUPES GET
AWAY THE FIRST TIME
SO THEY COULD FIND THE FORTRESS
NOT BECAUSE ULTRAMAN COULDN'T CATCH HIM
BUT YOU ALREADY KNEW THIS

The film shows Superman as faster when both the engineer and Ultraman were struggling to catch him and Lex even comments for them to stop him. The Engineer replies with we are trying or something along those lines, this was a Superman that was seemingly on deaths door. Also Lex did indeed have the location but not the point of entry or how to even draw out the fortress, we can surmise that after brainstorming he put a theory in place to be able to access the Fortress which panned out to be true.

Justice League was absolute trash...and comparing it to this movie make no sense

Its not the same tone, same quality, same pace or anything

There is nothing to justify.

Just say you don't know anything about the Superman comics and your only frame of reference is the MOS movie and the other Snyder joints.

Do you even know about "All Star Superman" or "For all Seasons"?

You nikkas got exposed on this movie

:russ:

And I've stated in this and other Superman related threads that I'm a fan on the post crisis Superman run that was started by John Byrne. Hell, I even have the Death of Superman novelization in hardcover

I'm not comparing Justice League movie to this you idiot :snoop: I'm pointing out the depiction of a character

No lol ultra man is atomic spaghetti due to him being sucked into the black hole. Lol it’s over for him
we didn’t see his body go into that
Movie making 101 if you don’t see a body and we also don’t know what was on the other end of that “black hole”
If they went back into the pocket universe to retrieve all of Lexs prisoners
Why wouldn’t it be in the realm of possibility that Ultraman is still floating around somewhere different
James didn’t do that haphazardly
But you an Aubrey fan so your response makes sense :dead:
I also like that this wasn’t a gotdamn origin story as many reviewers have said
That made it solid for me
I hope this decision continues going forward with all characters especially Bats:ehh:
