i thought i would go in liking this, but i liked it more than i thought. lex was super hammy, and him holding major grudges over absolute dumb shyt was great. terrific and oddly krypto were the stand outs of the movie to me though. i didnt think either would have such a strong presense, but whenever they showed up on screen they ate. two questions i have, why did they put the engineer with lex, when mercy graves exists as a character and is already loyal to lex, and how does rick flag jr and sr exist? theres only like 9 years difference between both actors.

overall, fantastic 4 is really gonna have to put its best foot forward following this

I liked it. Dense as fukk.
Straight 90's Jurgens comic stuff with Luthor trolling on multiple fronts.
Best onscreen personality for Superman.
The only real con was that Ultraman wasn't Bizarro.
Not a fan of his parents being evil but I guess it was a good way to sway the public against him.

*Gunn is creating a movie about "The Authority," of which the Engineer is a member.

*Diversity purposes. Mercy Graves isn't a Latina.

If the keep it true to the original Warren Ellis, it could either be a Trainwreck or the greatest thing ever.
