This wasn’t something I would’ve saw in theaters

The plot of this movie sucked. Doctored footage lead to everybody turning their back on Superman and when questioned about it the logic was he was trying to gain their trust???

Pretty silly

With that said it was a very enjoyable movie. Mr Terrific, Lois, Luthor & Superman were all well casted plus the movie had great action

I’d probably see a second one

Gunn himself has said it's authentic... Lex says it when nobody who needs to believe the lie is around in the movie

He stole that shyt right out of Brightburn.. not sure why anyone thought it wasn't authentic

I wonder how that ties into Supergirl.

Gunn is right. Even in canon they aren't always benevolent so to get all up in arms about it makes little sense to me. You don't have to like it but to say "Gunn ruined them" doesn't add up since it has been canon before. Gunn ain't the only one to ever paint that picture.
