Somewhere tropic...
The sad fact is the era where rap was a craft that had to be practiced and mastered is gone
That's why most of these nikkas sound horrible live
Rap is a hustle now. It's the equivalent of having a 9-5 that you don't care about, but you got bills to pay.

This ol' sucka MC stepped up to me
Challenged Andre to a battle and I stood there patiently
As he spit and stumbled over cliches, so called freestylin'
Whole purpose just to make me feel low, I guess you wildin'
I say look boi, I ain't for that fukk shyt; so fukk this
Let me explain"only child" style so you don't dis'
I grew up to myself not round no park bench
Just a nikka bustin' flows off in apartments...

I understand not wanting to freestyle sometimes. Maybe that day you just don't have it... whatever. But I still think it's bytch-made as an artist, especially a hip-hop artist, to not have a cool 8 bars to drop or something... anything. I mean, freestyle is an essential ability that separates amateur from pro. How in the hell you get big and now you don't have to rap? Isn't that what you do?

It's whack, it's lame, it's a reason I don't listen to TI anymore anyway. You know you're going on Sway. Sway ALWAYS asks nikkas to freestyle.

With that being said, nikkas hate on Jody, but if you ask him to come off the head he will not hesitate.

regardless if you like it or not, he will do it, and some of the stuff he says will have you :ohhh::wow::blessed::gladbron::krs::ooh::ohlawd::whew::noah::salute::lawd:

No they didn't....there are a shytload of rappers out there who can't just come off the dome and bust raps.... it's only a pre-req for NY/East Coast rappers to be able to freestyle.

they just aint in avenues/outlets where people are gonna ask them to freestyle....and their audiences don't exactly care about how well they freestyle.
We dont freestyle either we spit writtens

But you should at least have one of those on deck if you are coming to a radio show where people usually freestyle
