My younger brother has tickets to Game 6. Early in the 4th quarter he kept saying the Bullets were gonna win tonight and close it out on Friday. :mjlol:

I said nah, watch them collapse...

Now he's like :damn: these nikkas gonna end the season while I'm there

All within a 20 minute span :mjcry:

:russ:

What a fanbase. The Wizards have an 8 win home playoff streak going, I'll be hanging my hat on that.

The only section of the fan base that remembers the glory days are all 50 years and older :russ:

My dad was talking about the 1978 championship. He said he watched those finals as he had just gotten to the USA and was living in Salem, Oregon. And he was like 16 years old :wow:

People like me who are under 30 and started watching hoops in the 90s remember when C-Webb, Rod Strickland, Juwan Howard days... then C-Webb being traded to SAC, then the Jordan years, then Arenas, and now Wall eras...

And its all had minimal postseason success

So we always expect the worst :russ:

a typical Bradley Beal 4th quarter. Here is his 4th quarter shot chart:

The one made shot was a meaningless 3 with 16 seconds to go when we were down 13. Oh, and he also had no assists, no rebounds, a turnover and a foul.

Washington, D.C. – Wizards forward Otto Porter Jr. underwent a successful left lower leg fasciotomy for compartment syndrome earlier today.

The procedure was required after clinical examination confirmed the diagnosis of compartment syndrome (a critical increase in pressure resulting from an injury) and was necessary to prevent permanent damage to the muscles in the leg. It was performed by Wizards Director of Medical Services and Orthopedist Dr. Wiemi Douoguih at MedStar Health at Lafyatte Centre.

Porter will be out indefinitely.
Otto got hurt vs. Boston a few weeks ago. Wizards medical staff fukked up again just as they did with Wall early in the season.

Been a underwhelming season. I wanna say lets blow it, but the Raps got better by not really doing anything either, so...

the raptors had a better coaching staff, a better GM and a better supporting cast
they maximized the potential of their roster. I don’t see the wizards getting much better with that they have

For Ernie to have been hesitant to sign Otto Porter he must’ve saw some red flags with his health. This is the same guy that threw away money on Mahinmi and Nicholson but was hesitant with Otto.

They were hesitant on giving him the max. But they were working on signing him to a cap friendly deal over 5 years. I read something like close to $90M over 5 years. The Nets and Kings having stupid cap space messed it all up.

Otto's been relatively healthy.. he doesn't miss games. The biggest issue is his hip.

Vlade claims they never offered him one. Falk really wanted that max though. Brooks obviously was lying about him being 100 percent.
