And he requires attention from the defence because he rolls extremely well to the basket. If he could develop a mid range jumper and get in better shape he could get way more minutes than he does now.
He’s also our best Center defending the pnr and perimeter on the switch.
Lowry and Derozan were clearly the center of the Wiz defensive game plan yesterday with a lot of soft trapping at the three point line. That plan will shift to defend more of the stuff the Raps were getting in the paint, as well the kick outs, which will open up opportunities a bit for the Raptors backcourt. I expect a much better performance from them on Tuesday.

I dunno bruh. That plays right into Lowry and Derozan’s strengths. JV is also a very good one on one player. The Wiz maybe just don’t have the defensive personnel to win this series. As much as toronto struggles with the Wiz backcourt, we have so much of an advantage everywhere else that the Raps should win in 5 games.
