A lot of their success was Gortat being a decent player. He has regressed like crazy over the past few years and they need to replace him ASAP. That's why Cousins made so much sense for that team, but knowing Cousins he is staying on the Pelicans.

Maybe they should keep Beal and build through the Draft.....try to open up cap space and then try to attract talent.....I don’t know any of the contractual obligations......but I’d start unloading pricey dead weight this summer
