this is still the worst forum on here, the answer is simple. the shyt sucks and wasnt planned out right. initial sales may give you an argument if you are only worried about money. but they didnt release shyt to justify buying it, like people said... if you have switch 1 its not worth the upgrade yet. they needed to drop with a handful of games and a reason to purchase shyt.... not just rehashes of shyt we already played...donkey kong with fukking "red faction" style level destruction and a mario kart bundle. Do I really wanna spend like 500$ just to play mario kart when I can boot up switch 1 and just play what I already have?

I get that people love nintendo or whatever console they are into but the points people make are hypocritical. I think Switch was the most fun out of the last generation. but Im not paying for a minimal upgrade with no planned games.... I'll just wait for a decent handful of titles. 90% of the games "playable" were released years ago and the 2 new ones dont move a price point needle.

I have a Switch, but rarely play it compared to the X and PS5.

It's fun to play if I'm waiting somewhere or flying out of town.

If we could play GoY, Cyberpunk etc., (i.e., "grown up games") with comparable graphics/performance to the current systems, it would sell like hot cakes. Even if it's first party Nintendo shyt but AAA quality games besides the usual cartoon Mario/Zelda ish.

They have a brand like Apple, so it's going to sell regardless, but they have settled for being everyone's #2 console. Gamers get a PC/Xbox/PS5 as #1 and then back it up with a Switch. Smart positioning? Yes. I love the portable aspect of it. Just wished they aimed a bit higher.

Also the lack of trophy/achievement support is something that irks me about Nintendo games too. I literally don't buy any 3rd party games on their systems due to them Lacking that feature. I only use my switch now when I'm traveling or if I'm at work with nothing to do.

They haven't announced a new Mario which is crazy. But they have to stop developing these games with Switch 1 as the base because it completely hampers the Switch 2 version. Pokemon ZA on Switch 2 was a travesty. There's no excuse why you couldn't enter buildings or they all had the same bland layout on a system that's equivalent to a PS4 pro. Especially when you see they were able to make Cyberpunk run decently on there

They have like 12 games announced it’s just nothing anyone here would be interested in outside of duskbloods and fire emblem
