not really a fan of Tinashe because she isnt really that vocally gifted

she dances which is another skill I figured she focused a little more on and has a body built like a dancer which was something she exploited for her public image because wellllll sex sells

Sza's music didnt change, just the content and lyrics. She lost weight, got some money so just like any girl she wanted to flaunt it. CTRL is just ONE PROJECT project where she could try sum different for once and show us her organic, yet a little ratchet, side.

SZA is also positioned to do a big mainstream album next, if she wants. She's succeeding where nearly every black female artist outside of Beyonce/Rihanna have failed. Built a loyal fanbase, doing festivals, radio and critical success, etc...who else is winning like that? Jhene Aiko was for a bit but has kinda faded.

Tinashe was never that talented to me. When I was on KTT, they stayed trying to make her a thing. I don’t think she has a great singing voice, nor can she dance like that. Her looks can only take her so far.

At least SZA makes decent music.

OP was way wrong in retrospect. SZA dropped a fire album and Tinashe has not.

SZA had one of the best albums of the year in RnB, Tinashe did not in her respective genre of pop music.
