So from reading this thread, T-Boz is a broke desperate for attention singer who was never a relevant part of her group despite being the lead singer and main voice on most of their biggest hits... and although her group sold more records in 1995 alone than Nicki Minaj will ever sell in her lifetime, her opinion of Minaj as a performer is even more invalid than the opinions express daily on The Coli.

The thing is though, she is an entertainer and her using her sexy side is entertaining to a lot of people. What T-Boz feels is entertaining is her opinion and not 'the truth' really.

Exactly, people showing their youth in this thread. Acting like TLC didn't go DIAMOND. Also T-Boz has had health problems and 1/3rd of their group Died 10 years ago. It's hard to do a TLC album without Left eye. The point is anyone acting Nicki will ever be the level of TLC needs to put the pipe down. The bottom line is if I was an up and coming singer I would value T-Boz opinion on my voice than Nicki who CAN NOT SING AT ALL. Say what you will, T-Boz can sing period.

Besides that being fairly painfully obvious...there's the fact that you don't have to be some world class singer that could hit every note perfectly to judge a singing competition any more than you have to be a statuesque former beauty queen to judge a beauty pageant...the original judging crew of American Idol were two complete non-singers (Randy and Simon) and Paula Abdul, who was indeed technically a pop singer...but was really just an ex dancer pretty face that couldn't actually sing worth a fifth of a shyt
