And if you really keep it all the way 100, GKMC was nice (largely because of the theme and skits) but Kdot is just above average. I've never heard him spit something that made me say "rewind that."

Admittedly, as a NY cat, who grew up where hip hop was birthed, I find this list disturbing. U have Supreme Radio in Italy playing better music (Tony Touch, T.I., Killah Priest, Rapsody, etc.)

Stuff like that list is not controlled by the artists in NY. In this internet era where regionalism is less relevant than it used to be, the power is in the hands of a dude like Ebro and other program directors, not the artists so when dudes say 'NY needs to step it's game up in the wake of this Kendrick situation' who are they talking to? Certainly not Action Bronson, Joey Badass or the Flatbush Zombies because they can't change the corporatism of New York radio. Sad.

shyt is a nice album but I feel alotta nikkas forced themselves on it cause Kendrick as a whole is an acquired taste kind of artist..and that is an acquired taste kind of album..I know this because when I used to try to put nikkas on to Kendrick nikkas used to make fun of his voice n shyt or they wasnt really feelin all the vocal inflections n shyt...fast forward...now everybody fukkin wit Kendrick...he's the best this and the best that...even the people that was shyttin on him..now that he's popular...its a different story...I just find this whole shyt funny..like I said..I knew the disrespect was gonna start pouring in once nikkas gave Kendrick the pass to shyt on the city..cause alotta nikkas been waiting for somethin like this to happen for a minute,,it's all funny to me..and Kendrick is sitting back and enjoying it..he ain't say shyt to defend his words..none of that..and I'm not knockin him..but all this Kendrick is tryna save hip hop talk needs to stop...Kendrick don't give a fukk about saving hip hop...Kendrick gives a fukk about Kendrick...period..
