If it's hard to save, channel part of your direct deposit to an account without electronic access or an ATM card.
This.Work more, don't give yourself time to do anything
- If you have direct deposit, have them deposit a % of your check to a savings account. This savings account should be at a different bank & don't get a debit card tied to the account.

Don’t know how much you have to work with but for my situation I usually take out $20 each morning before I head to work, spend less than half that day for lunch and then when I get home, I put the rest (which is usually between $10-$15) into a plastic bag in a shoe box. Last year I did this for a whole year and was able to save $2400 (just putting away 1’s, 5’s and 10’s all year)..Cashed it out on January 1st and was in the bank, white people looking at me like im a dope dealer, bags full of 1’s and 5’s….threw it all into my savings..
Just started again this month and already have over $300 savedand plan to have over $3k this year's end..![]()
just put away anything you can each day, instead of using your debit card, take out the cash for the day and store the change at the end of the day. Bottom line, this takes discipline and I don't care if you make $7 an hour, you can always put up SOMETHING...fix your mind on saving and after awhile it becomes second nature..
Download the acorns app breh. Everytimeyou use your card/account they invest the change into the market for you.

Get a budgeting app or write down on your calendar where and what you spent money on.
if you're spending money on lunch at work every day, you already blowing money fast. even back when I worked in an office I brought my lunch from home 90% of the time. if you're spending $7 a day on lunch at work, thats damn near $150 a month just on some bullshyt.
buy some cold cuts or bring dinner leftovers and quit tricking.
This. Two frugal minded people working together is awesome. Your spouse/significant other should be on deck.Yes and no.
If you with a woman who is about her shyt then its a partnership. My girl and I alternate if we go out to eat. But we are cooking more now so thats even more savings because she's putting in bread on groceries.
No eating out (no matter how cheap)
Take a set amount of money out EACH week after bills and either lock it away where its not easily accessible or give it to someone you trust for saving
Clip coupons (they really do add up)
I could go on for days. I'm BOSS at being cheap.
