Also athletes are often tailed by cops and retired FBI agents for protection. Not to mention both leagues do a lot to incentivize players to either be home, at the facility, or at the hotel (road games).

shyt still don't feel real. It's so many layers to it man. Him and Quavo having their beef with Offset gotta be the saddest part about this whole thing. He left before they got to reconcile that shyt. Offset has gotta be fukking devastated. I can't even begin to imagine what Quavo is feeling. Went from being one of the biggest trio in hip hop to splitting with one and losing another, on the account of some shyt he allegedly started.

Then there's the fact that Migos is done....

Like there was a 90 % chance they would've gotten past the beef shyt but now we're never gonna hear another new Migos record again and that's the part that's so tough to accept. I'm thankful we got to see how they impacted the hip hop genre. I'm willing to say they're one of if not the most impactful group in hip hop.

It’s a gun problem to me plain and simple. We have an addiction to guns in this country and easy access allows unstable people to have easy access. The reality is many parts of this world that don’t have guns do not have the same cultural experiences. Most places a disagreement like that results in words, maybe a fistfight, maybe knives come out and in the rarest instance a gun is drawn. Here a gun is drawn 9 times out of 10. Here we are in 2022 with the same mentality of a Wild West gunslinger from 1822.

This problem will never be solved because we ain’t never giving up guns. More rappers will die violently, which is just the norm at the this point. Sad but true.

The chances those guns were obtained legally are next to nil.

Those guns are on the streets and are always going to be on the streets. Regardless of how much we tighten up gun laws.

Guns are a part of American culture. It's how this country beat the British. And these outlaw expelled from Europe cave dwelling cac descendants still at it.

Sad to see another brother taken. I'm not going to jump in the whole rap blame debate, but I will say that we as a community need to start back looking at one another as brothers and sisters. While we may be more educated, getting bigger bags, etc. Our emotional intelligence and care for one another overall has decreased. This is why I’m saying nothing will ever change. We can talk about how black folks get around each other and gang culture and all that shyt, but it’s the easy access to guns that make the killings possible. We want to talk about all these other issues (violence in rap, wild kids, etc) without confronting the real issue which is guns. No guns and 99% of the rappers killed would still be here. But we never getting rid of guns in this country. It’s our identity. It’s who we are. We literally try to solve the gun problem by giving more access to guns. It’s so fukking backwards that it’s practically barbaric. And the reality is it will never change. I’m saddened by that fact.
