As a super Stan of Nas and Mobb I was pissed he murder them on Take Over. The beat was fire and he almost effortlessly diced them up. When Ether dropped the beat was so wack I was like WTF? But then he melted that camels face withso many personal jabs. Nas fought back and came with the knockout. That’s one of the reasons why he is considered the goat. Most people Including me had were counting Nas out after Nastradamus.

Nas literally turned a character from a song into a diss when he called Jay a Stan. Without that the word Stan just remains a character in an Em song. That word is said by everyone now. Hip hop forums starting using it, it then took off on Twitter and now it's everywhere.
