The nba really need to just start the final 4 with the top teams and the rest of the teams just play a NIT tournament

This is only a recent problem with a bunch of stars teaming up. Even last year we had a great 2nd round matchup of Thunder/Spurs. If Durant was still on the thunder we would have likely had warriors/thunder/rockets/spurs all in the 2nd round right now. If this super team phase ever passes we could get back to quality playoffs, but as of now it's just two top teams coasting with a bunch of blowouts in other matchups as well.
