This thread obviously was not the thread for the AA-DOS designation, but, the point is our fates are not tied together strictly by our skin color and the fact we descent historically from Africa.
@T'krm
BLACK IMMIGRANTS IN U.S. EARNING 30% MORE THAN U.S. BORN BLACKS
Black Immigrants in U.S. Earning 30% More than U.S. Born Blacks
And we can't be talking about "together-ness" then throw insulting bullshyt around like "reparations is crumbs from the white man" while meantioning brothers like Garvey, Malcolm X or Marley.
@YoungMonkeyCashMonkeyBoy
It's not our fault we hail from a country that is not majority black and that our fight is difference.
shyt is fukked up and we have no place to run. No Caribbean or African country is politically relevant to me, personally. So, I'm not looking to find a connection where there isn't.
I get how that sounds like an insult or that I'm ashamed. I'm not. Black Americans have some hard times coming with the way the ecomony works and the "just-us" system. And we can't even immigrant to our so-called
Motherland.
Ya'll have to stop being so sensitive about this subject.
Lol @ native black person.
My dad is straight outta Africa. Where are you from? Which side is your white great grandfather from, your mom's or your dad's?
