I'm saying, itunes is so big that I don't think it is really an issue with people who have android phones vs. an iPhone.

Really, you don't think at least another 200k would have purchased the album on the android platform pushing her past 1 million in the first 2-3 days. My girl called and woke me up at 1230am looking for a way to buy the album, had to do the "free" option instead. And now that she already has it, I know she ain't buying that shyt.

Who doesn't have this album by now. Not to mention I think Itune exclusive releases hurt the artist, why not just do a full digitial release. Everyone I know with Android phones had no choice but to get it through other purposes.
I don't get the issue, nikkas can't d/l through iTunes on their laptop then transfer the music to their phone/tablet? If a fan with a droid wanted to support, they could've, At 41% market share of music sales, seems like plenty of people outside the iOS ecosystem use iTunes. The play store ain't even top 4/5 for music sales per that article

:what: The fukk you can. shyt is protected by DRM to be played on only apple mobile devices. And I'm not sure why anyone without an apple mobile device would use Itunes, shyt is a resource hog and just a terrible program IMO. Maybe its improved from 3 years ago but I wouldn't dare dl that shyt on any of my computers.

Playing iTunes Music on Android? Yes

Music and podcasts downloaded from iTunes are compatible with Android phones in most cases. Music purchased from iTunes is in the AAC format, which Android plays.

The one exception to this are songs bought from iTunes prior to the April 2009 introduction of iTunes Plus and the removal of DRM from iTunes songs. These files, called Protected AAC, won't work on Android because it doesn't support iTunes' DRM. However, you can upgrade these songs to Android-compatible Purchased AAC files for US$0.30/song.

Podcasts downloaded from iTunes are MP3s, which are compatible with Android.
just d/l it for the album and KIM :yeshrug:

It's 2013, people know how to remove software they only needed for a quick task

Have to imagine the backlash of Beyonce fans feeling snubbed and taking there business elsewhere could have a bigger impact than the revenue of not selling her album. Major box stores continue to reduce their CD inventory as it is not very profitable for them.
