I dont know the family but I feel like they would have forgiven ANYONE.

Seems like they live in their church and are actual devout Christians

Botham Jean's friend talked about how they would take notes during church sermons to talk about later. I mean how many 'religious' people do you know who do that

I personally would have spat in her face

I understand what Tariq is doing but he's doing it in such a roundabout way.

I get the afric00n sentiment He spews but you can't be calling on the spirit of ogun in the same breath it makes no sense
Ain't no ogun, only Jehovah.

Yes and no. Christianity doesnt teach that people shouldnt go to jail for crimes. Its plenty of passages that support the death penality. So i dont get that. Yes, i understand the forgiveness part since that what chrisitanity was built upon (Jesus dying on the cross to forgive sinners). And its plenty of passages that teach to love your enemy. But does that mean you have to hug, give Bibles, be friends. I don't think so. But i would have to hear their reasoning.

Who reasoning? I'm saying if they had the same exact religions and same exact reasoning.

Nothing different at all. Now since you know that.

So now would you would understand amber guyger's family forgiving a black male cop that so called "accidentally" killed amber guyger in her home while doing yoga? Her father saying he wants to be friends with the black cop(her killer) and Amber's sister begging for a hug from him saying she don't want him to go to jail at all? Then the white woman judge giving him a bible and a hug?

Plenty of white people have forgiven killers

It's not exclusive to us

People who take their religion seriously do this.

Jesus let the family grieve.

The people who did the acts reasoning? Is that based on Christianity and the Bible? And if so, where does it teach or imply that as a judge you give people Bibles and a hug, for example? Or you're to become friends?

Basically you would approve of ambers family forgiving Amber's black killer and a white judge hugging amber guyger's killer(a black male cop) and Amber's white sister begging to hug Amber's black killer and saying she don't want him to do no jail time and Amber's father saying he want to be friends with Amber's black killer.
