Im not mad at Obama for challenging the black community, and issues that could be perceived as collective failings, but Im a bit disappointed that he always seems to lose that forcefulness in voice when it comes to tacking white supremacy. Obama will soft pedal criticism towards white racism, but will always qualify it by granting false equivalence to the other side of the issue. Obama rarely introduces racial prejudice into his "tough love" conversations he aims at black folks as a qualifier in kind. Additionally, when Obama is preaching to other aggrieved groups (latinos, hispanics, women) he conveniently never seems interested in these "tough love" speeches....he always strikes a tone of agreement with their issues, and doesnt push back.

Edit: I meant to say: (homosexuals, hispanics, women)...lol.

I always expect you to have your cape on because you dont believe in accountability.

i believe in accountability. i don't have b*stard children and always used protection up until i started dating trusted partners on BC.

i'm just wondering why only 1 gender is targeted and the other gets treated like a saint. you got pregnant by a drop out dopeboy that has 3-4 kids already and im supposed to feel sorry now that YOU pregnant? nah, fukk that. these women know what they signing up for and i don't have any sympathy. these hoes wanna be able to fukk and procreate with the worst of the worst, only to expect decent BM to :cape: for their fukked up choices

its weird...cause on ONE hand you wanna be hard on them so they feel compelled to prove Obama wrong and meet the new standard... but then on the other hand, being too nice would make it seem like shyt is sweet...and it aint

Talk about MISSING the point...

raise their standards in women or just overall? cus a lot of these dudes aren't in a position to raise their standards in women.

Wrong again fam.

The time to chastise women aint when they ALREADY got kids on the way or at home waiting on dinner.

Men MUST lead because men DO lead.

And you're still looking to blame black women.

See why that divide and conquer shyt works so well? They've got you hating the very thing you should be trying to embrace and fix.

yeah, see more bullshyt rhetoric. so black men w/o children are supposed to embrace single mothers and their b*stard children? that isn't natural, you wont even see that in nature.

SOMEONE has to be the bigger person...and that can start with men.

Period.

sounds sexist, are you saying women are too inferior to fix their own fukked up choices in partners? :mjpls:

Yes. Women have kids...but men put that seed in there. Responsibility is 50% but don't fall back on some "oh well what about what she did!" shyt.

another dated argument. these women a dozen forms of birth control and all men have are condoms. women can just tell the man to put a rubber on, they aren't being raped. they can have abortions or put the kid up for adoption. these are options women have to stop unwanted children from being born and they refuse to use them. why? because white daddy is cutting them fukking checks for bringing fatherless kids into the world.

Too late fam. You already know how society works. Women and men aren't equal. Never were. Probably never will be.

they aren't equal because they don't put in an equal amount of work into building and maintaining infrastructure -- but i'm glad that's established.

Men have to step up and face the challenges FOR THE SAKE of everyone else. Women ain't gonna do it on their own. They're just not.

more rhetoric, what are you even talking about now.

Mind you...you will NEVER have another president or politician on Barack's scale commenting on Trayvon martin, coming to black colleges to give speeches, having black kids look up to him, or speaking in coded language to people who understand what he's really going through...

...and all you can do is wonder why black women keep getting knocked up.

bolded is completely irrelevant to why black women choose to get knocked up.

And this is why I think you don't care about the black community.

You're just making excuses.

Are you serious with this bullshyt response???
you didn't even answer my question and i'm just telling you the truth.

you think a lot of these nikkas like fukking fat chicks and single mothers, they aren't in a position to do better.

more empty words. im starting to believe y'all don't even know what you mean when you say shyt like "MEN MUST LEAD!"

and it's the best time to chastise women when they already got kids. it's much better than treating them like saints that never made any bad choices. it just helps in their own narrative to vilify black men and fatherhood.

nikka WHO said that?

Why can't black men just fukking stick with the mother of their children???????? or at least be in the kids fukking life???

I'm saying the blame game doesn't help anyone.

Men must be willing to BE MEN and stand the fukk up.

Too bad.

You're talking about shyt that doesn't matter.

if the kid is already here, the time for pointing fingers goes out the window.

they aren't equal because they don't put in an equal amount of work into building and maintaining infrastructure -- but i'm glad that's established.
Men will always have to provide for women. Period.

more rhetoric, what are you even talking about now.
I'm not even a right wing dude like that...but you're pushing me to resort to some primal shyt because of your sheer stupidity.

You're blaming women and i'm telling you to man the fukk up...

...but its cool...you just blame women for getting pregnant...and thats not the issue. Its about BEING FATHERS.

bolded is completely irrelevant to why black women choose to get knocked up.

you're talking about shyt that don't matter.

We're talking about being in your kids life...you're talking about sex ed :mjlol:

This makes NO sense.

They have kids, shyt ain't gonna get easier for them. The best that can happen to them is that their mates don't abandon them

but you women hating dudes are trying to skirt responsibility.

Live your own life
Obama addressing black fathers shouldn't be regard as offensive. When we talk about the state of our condition, we always bring up the absent of black fatherhood in our community.

If the men wore condoms, single parents household wouldn't be pervasive as it is in our society. I have seen your posts many times in threads where women are manifested as the sole problem that created broken homes. You never seem to stand on the fence while you leaned on one side that blame women for everything.

And are we going to deny that they are men playing women out of their clothes for sex and bounce?. You know the one that pretend to love and care for his lady, but only lied to get the ass, and soon as he is done completing his mission , he disappeared. :stopitslime:

@marcuz is an idiot. The same one who thinks abolishing the 1 drop rule is good so we can end up like Brazil, DR, Venezuela and Mexico.

Black issues are simple. Capitalism caters to the group with the most money and in this case, the biggest population. To overcome that, a strong culture is needed or the most powerful group can undermine. At this juncture, Black people aren't strong enough to turn down $$ Whites give us to own our schools, music, police departments, local governments, sports, etc

That leaves us with

1. Getting our population numbers up to increase our consumer base. Otherwise, Whites can beat us in sheer raw consumption and thus will be able to have their way with our artforms.

2. Integrating into majority Black countries

3. Breeding ourselves out

4. Stay right where the fukk we are

The Internet could have been a great tool for Black consciousness and capitalism (and it has to some degree), but it has amplified the most negative aspects at a higher decibel
Only other possibly is a Black country like Nigeria gaining world power status and deciding to invest heavily in Black American communities :manny:
