Im not mad at Obama for challenging the black community, and issues that could be perceived as collective failings, but Im a bit disappointed that he always seems to lose that forcefulness in voice when it comes to tacking white supremacy. Obama will soft pedal criticism towards white racism, but will always qualify it by granting false equivalence to the other side of the issue. Obama rarely introduces racial prejudice into his "tough love" conversations he aims at black folks as a qualifier in kind. Additionally, when Obama is preaching to other aggrieved groups (latinos, hispanics, women) he conveniently never seems interested in these "tough love" speeches....he always strikes a tone of agreement with their issues, and doesnt push back.
Edit: I meant to say: (homosexuals, hispanics, women)...lol.
