It works for Kendrick and SZA, it doesn't work for anyone else over there. They've got new artists who can't even get a release and build a decent fanbase. What fear of over saturation is there for Reason? Jay Rock? Q? Jay Rock had so much momentum going from Black Panther to his album, went on a successful tour and then completely disappeared. SiR dropped his most successful project including a couple gold/plat singles. Hasn't dropped since then...2019.

The newer acts they signed...Ray Vaughn doesn't have a wikipedia page lol, and has one EP. Doechii released an EP with like four singles, none of which did anything. Radio silence. How is this helping them?

7 years later and nothings changed :wow: Sucks cause we all loved every artist over there too:mjcry:

That black hippy album should’ve happened man. It would’ve changed the trajectory of everyone’s career and possibly made Q even bigger.

And folks was made at me for making this thread smh

:deadrose: Man stop it. Lol.

Who else have they signed? I know about the girl from Florida and it seems like she really is active on social media and is getting out in great places. She can really blow I think

No one cares for Reason, Jay Rock is a fumble, Q might not care anymore, I'll say HERBERT and THIB are successes in their own right but would probably have done better if released earlier. Hell Rashad leaked a gang of songs and they deaded all the links.

How many copies did Herbert sale? I don’t think it charted at all :ohhh:

That’s a fail especially when Soul himself said he needs to start getting bread and move some units

Yeah, don’t think Herbert charted.

I know Soul had a bunch of issues, but this idea that non stars can just completely disappear for years and come back and everyone is going to just be waiting on them is crazy.

Even Kendrick’s numbers were a bit disappointing, in part because his album went way left, but you can’t run your label like that.

No one is saying Rock needed to release 3 albums in two years, but where is he?

Q dropped a mid album then disappeared, released a single that didn’t do shyt then left again.

Reason is known more for his Dreamville collabs than TDE.

His first week sales peak before this was in the 20 thousand range, he never sold like that I don't think. He's never even gone gold

they need to sale the label ike dudes from Q entertainment

its over
SZA had the #1 album in the country for ten weeks and will keep selling for the rest of the year. The lights will stay on in the building with ease this year, but they need to get better about releasing shyt. Someone has to come out this summer and fall, no excuses.

Keep the lights on is an understatement, they might be able to eat off that one for a long time because she's running pop radio right now
