If lebron joins houston they can beat warriors in my opinion.

breh are you stupid ? it is not an overwhelming talent advantage at all. did you miss the part where they have 5 all-star caliber players, 4 of which are just entering their prime ? PLUS great bench pieces ? PLUS the best defense in the league ? PLUS the best coach in the league ? there is not a player you can help off of in their starting lineup next year.

these young cats are only getting better. i guarantee their defense will take steph or klay out every game and make the other inefficient. these dudes are two wins away from the damn finals without two-all stars. i don't think you realize what you are witnessing. like everyone that keeps talking about the system. these dudes can BALL.

Let's agree to disagree homie.

All of golden states best guys are better than All of Boston's best guys. Thats why i said overwhelming advantage.

Its wishful thinking to think that Boston will shut down Steph/Klay in a finals setting. Im just not seeing it. Plus GS offense is much more explosive. None of Brown/Tatum/Hayward/Horford have shown that they are championship caliber players at this point. But we'll see i guess.

why can't you see it when steph has been sub-par in every single finals he's been in ? :dahell:

still has no finals MVPs.... and this against the cavs who have never been a top defensive team. boston literally has the best defense in the league and gave them hell this year if you forgot.

boston is DEEPER than the warriors when healthy. think about this. coming into the season, who would you say boston's best players are ? kyrie and hayward. name a team in the league you can take away their best two players, and that team is two games away from the finals..... you can't because that team doesn't exist except for the celtics.

the big difference between these teams is horford can do what draymond can't and that is be a legit stretch 5 weapon. i will take this team against the "hampton 5" any day. no offensive liabilities like draymond and igoudala, who is getting OLD i might add.

Here is Boston most likely starting lineup next year

Kyrie
Brown
Tatum
Hayward
Horford.

Kyrie vs curry? Curry is a better player, and outplayed Kyrie in the 2017 finals. But kyrie can keep it close.

I'll put my money on Klay outplaying an inexperienced Jalen Brown , both can play D tho. Klay is a much much better shooter.

Iggy vs Tatum? Iggy can limit him, dude will just be in his 2nd season and is very inconsistent on the road. We don't even know how good Tatum will ever really be. He still has work to do. Its not a given he will be a great player (i want him to tho)

KD vs Hayward? Lmao

Dray vs Horford? I'll put my money on Dray,
Bench isn't as important in the finals.

Aint trying to hate on the Celtics but the warriors are clearly better to me.

Rockets need that 3rd guy and Lebron would help them, don't know how they get him though without losing most of the team and then still

Tbh i think they would be straight
Bron get his cash, harden got his bread, they got Bird rights on cp3, Capel a. E.G. got a couple years left and the rest of them nikkas already on vet min. Owner said he gonna pay that luxury tax to compete.

If dudes know they making a deep run, they'll come back on vet min.

Just imo.

Philly(Simmons has to make a huge jump)
Boston(Assuming everyone is healthy and the young guys get better)
Whatever team(Lakers, Philly, maybe Houston) LeBron goes to if he can get PG13 to come along

Those are the only team that have a chance.

Philly needs another star who can create their own shot. Boston is the team that can probably give them the best competition starting next year. Numerous wings who can get their own shot..a star guard who can at least play steph to a draw. & they have the best coach in the NBA.

i've always said that you need 2 players capable of putting up 30-40 points consistently to beat these warriors.

Rockets don't have that...chris paul can't be that guy consistently.....rockets won game 2 cuz eric gordon exploded
Healthy celtics don't have that either....heyward is an overrated low 20 ppg player....plus durant and curry would abuse irving and heyward
in fact, this celtics young core can't compete offensively if the other team scores more than 110 points. If the cavs light from beyond the arc, the celtics will lose this current series.

The only teams in the past 10 years that could beat this iteration of the warriors are the cavs with irving or those Heatle teams

What Bron needs to do is hook up with a bonafide scorer, like James Harden.....if I were the Gm of the rockets, i would trade Chris Paul and then sign Bron (cuz paul is expendable with Bron there)

Bron + harden + solid bench > warriors
