Durant didn’t ruin the NBA. He just raised the stakes so other teams would have to step their game up to another level. No team in history has been unbeatable, you just got to put the team together to do it. Kudos to Houston for at least going all in on doing it while the rest of the league just cowers and forfeits.

Facts!! Sick of the league just having 1 star and the rest of team is made of bs players. And the warriors aren’t some super team. No one besides Durant is crazy athletic (maybe Iggy in his prime). The team is really made up of skill and savvy players (minus Durant). They’re like the spurs, but the flashy/modern version.

Ita crazy how cleveland were able to beat the warriors...crazy.

It’s not that crazy. Shyt, I think Cleveland would have beaten them the year before that too if they were healthy. That team (without Durant) lacked imo a true athletic go to scorer. Barnes was supposed to be that, but fell fukking short.

No but Brad Stevens could be what pushes them over the edge
Stevens was able to coach these dudes to looking ever so better in just about every matchup against pre-KD GSW. A healthy Cs with Kyrie-Smart-Brown-Tatum-Horford might be the best 5 man lineup we can currently put together against their death lineup. Horford can move on Draymond well enough to stay in the floor, Smart is a good Curry matchup, Kyrie has obvious history on what he should do against these boys.

IDK what the Cs need drafting wise, maybe a stretch 4 would do them well, ala a Saric or someone. But FA wise, Kawhi or PG takes them over the top imo. Just another two way KD matchup really

2 years from now everyone will be complaining about the Celtics and call them a super team. Idk why good management, coaching, drafting and offseason moves doesn’t get enough credit

Celtics just don't have enough offense, we've seen how defense comes and goes even with great teams.

Both teams can play D. Only one is capable of scoring 130+pts home or away. Warriors are undefeated at home ever since KD came. They haven't lost a home playoff game in 2 yrs lol.

Steph, Klay,KD, Dray >> Kyrie, Brown,Hayward Horford. And Tatum is only a sophomore

There’s gonna be a lot of similarities between them and GSW, but I think what Boston has done is even more impressive. They’ve taken dudes who were just above bum status and made them have superstar moments repeatedly. Stevens has turned guys like Baynes, Olynyk, Avery Bradley, fellas that were cogs into their own men. Horford was good, but now he’s elite. Smart and Rozier too. GSW had it a tad bit easier cause most of their draft hits were pretty promising in college and most of their vets were already elite at one point or another.
