How is it that a defense lost as many times through the first 5 games as they did through the next 11? What was the ONE big difference in games 1-5 and 6-16?

The Broncos scored 21 points/game in Weeks 1-5 under Kyle Orton
The Broncos scored 18.5 points/game in Weeks 7-17 under Tim Tebow

Tell me again about the difference Tebow made.

He was. The sad part is that he WAS. On that front, he was given a raw deal. Even if he wasn't good enough to start, there were too many games where Fez was so bad you needed to go to your backup and the only time Rex ever decided to do it, Tebow was conveniently out of commission so he went with McElroy.

You're speculating, while @NYC Rebel was at practice. I'll go with him. :upsetfavre:

I've seen both of them at practice. Fez doesn't exactly wow people at practice either. He stays sailing throws. Fez can get into a rhythm faster which gets everyone thinking he's doing fine. That explains why he can reel off 3-4-5 good passes in a row during a drive... right before the pick 6.

The defense got plenty of credit nikka. They deserved credit, they played good. Why is it that Tebow get's NO credit on here though? Tebow had nothing to do with turning that team around?

You just posted a complete and utter lie.

The defense got equal credit as Tebow?

Ummmm....is it about "wowing" people at practice or clearly being better during practice? Tebow was the worst....period. fukk a "wow"

denver broncos offense through first 5 games: scored 21 points per game
denver broncos from games 5-16: scored 18.5 points per game

denver broncos defense through first 5 games: allowed 28 points per game
denver broncos defense from game 5-16: allowed 22.7 points per game

lets hear it from you again what the difference was :lolbron:

unless you have documented evidence that tebow played on that defense, Im not sure you have any point you can back up with facts

The Broncos scored 21 points/game in Weeks 1-5 under Kyle Orton
The Broncos scored 18.5 points/game in Weeks 7-17 under Tim Tebow

He just gave that team a different vibe brehs. He had that whole team believin they could win games.

And maybe, just maybe #1 rush offense = greater time of possesion = fresh defense :shaq:

look Ill even agree that tebow is a good leader and could be a great locker room guy

but the thing is, he is not a good qb at all. hes a bad qb. and with a good enough sample size his suckiness will show.

being a good leader doesnt mean much if you cant play the game on an NFL level; that goes for every goddamn position out there

i jus find it weird and think its bad that tebow as many limits as he had he still won playoff gms in Den, but cnt find a job. But dis bum glabbert still has a job, and all dem scrubs in Zona got a chance to start a gm last yr but tebow can't. Old man Weeden still has a job, but tebow cnt get nuthin. like dis really is a joke.

no, HE didnt win the game.
his TEAM won the game. there are 22 people starting on a football team on both sides on the ball, and thats excluding the special teamers

also, some gms said theyd be interested in bringing him over as a backup, but they dont want to deal with the circus surrounding tebow, which is ridic for a backup qb.

They say QB is most important position of a football tm, and has the biggest effect on a team. I recall before tebow, Orton didnt exactly have that team as a winning team. The defensive starters were the same, jus tebow changed in qb. I recall in dem playoffs tebow big throws and come from behind wins. I'm sure he can do the same on another team.

It's funny how every1 says Den defense was soo good and thats why they won with tebow. But now that Peyton is there and they lost in playoffs, every1 is blaming that very same defense, lol.

Better than I thought. Everybody always made it sound like the Jags was only pullin 40-50k at best.

The media been shyttin on us for a while, we actually have decent fan support throughout these last couple horrible years.

But with Tebow, I don't think most Jag fans even want him here.

Even If He's Released

its his fans fault that he isnt getting a shot, just like it was his fans fault he got his first shot...
