This is a marketing interview and that would 100% get you dinged as the ability to make a clear, succinct point is paramount, not rambling off everything in a framework

Honestly, keep to the STAR format for interview questions.

Describe the problem with some context and background story, say what you did to fix it then explain the results of your work and benefits the company got out of it.

That basically covers technical know how and actual contribution. It’s very natural additionally.

Why would you want to be a mechanic? Your competitors are undocumented people who offer dirt cheap services. Good luck making any kind of money in such an environment. I would recommend being a Diesel mechanic though, they make good money due to how specialized they are.
