The offer I accepted is not one of the big 3s. The accepted role would allow me to manage multi-brands. One of the things that stood out in the final interview was the lady was telling me that she wishes the role paid more, admitting it was a little less than market rate and that she hopes they improve that. I appreciated the transparency there. She also held me over the interview time to ask me who I was as a person and was emphasizing that they don't want people whose whole identity is their work and she was pushing family values and all that. That was a pretty refreshing green flag for me despite the slightly under market payrate.
The other offer I have pending (fingers crossed) is a notable agency that's been around since 1973 that was just acquired by Publicis though so that one I could end up working for a big 3 company. During the interviews one of the guys was talking about it and he seemed kind of bummed about it and said the culture changed when they got acquired and that they are steering people away from remote work and want more in office. But the role I applied for is remote but may be more hybrid come April with it being located in Florida. I think this role would be interesting because it is focused on one brand (Tyson) and I've never had the experience of working with one single brand before. I think earning potential could be higher here but I'm a bit wary of them being acquired by Publicis and how that seems to be coming off in terms of employee morale and strict requirements. But it could be more structured and be a great place to develop as well
