Why is a shotgun pointed directly at her face to begin with, right at the time it supposedly "accidentally discharged"? Any explanation for that? Is this prick claiming self defense or an accident?
Florida again?
The b*stard and his lawyers cant seem to get their story straight. When talking with detectives he said his "gun discharged", but his lawyer is painting it as self-defense "he had never been this scared in his life, ever".Why is a shotgun pointed directly at her face to begin with, right at the time it supposedly "accidentally discharged"? Does this look like it just discharges and shoots someone in the head while not damaging anybody/anything else? Do you walk to your front door to confront an intruder not knowing if your weapon is loaded?
what are they goin for, manslaughter?
I dont buy the "I didnt know there was a round in there" for one second, in fact he probably loaded the damn thing before going to the door. Now i'm not a gun connoisseur so maybe someone else can answer this, scale of 1-10 how likely is it a powerful weapon like a mossberg 500 just so happens to discharge, just so happening to shoot someone in the head, without doing any damage to yourself or any other nearby objects from the kick back? Am I reading this wrong or does this sound ridiculous?
AND from my understanding they're trying to get what he said to the detectives that night be stricken from evidenceThe b*stard and his lawyers cant seem to get their story straight. Trial date is set for July 21 but I'm getting this thread up to begin the discussion.
It looks like we are going to see another dead black teen get put on the stand for their own murder, with defense attorneys already trying to include crime trends in the Dearborn heights neighborhood, and text messages/photos, and school records of the young girl. Stay tuned, will update as the date gets closer

First time I'm hearing this, definitely gonna need a linkI dismissed the case a long time ago. Writing was on the wall from day one that the justus system would fail this girl and her family.
If I'm not mistaken, this dikkhead shot her and didn't even report it for an hour or two. He admitted to the police that she was indeed asking for help, and the local PD were never very thorough with the evidence. They've done everything they could to give him a leg up in this trial.
Doesn't surprise me that the black victim is on trial. Doesn't surprise me that he's waffled on his story. And it won't surprise me when he walks.![]()
