I dont buy the "I didnt know there was a round in there" for one second, in fact he probably loaded the damn thing before going to the door. Now i'm not a gun connoisseur so maybe someone else can answer this, scale of 1-10 how likely is it a powerful weapon like a mossberg 500 just so happens to discharge, just so happening to shoot someone in the head, without doing any damage to yourself or any other nearby objects from the kick back? Am I reading this wrong or does this sound ridiculous?

A rule of gun ownership is to never keep a loaded weapon around the house so it's likely he loaded that weapon. But who's to say everybody follows that rule. I don't. At any rate, this guy's whole story is garbage. It's obvious he came to that door ready for one thing and one thing only. But it does have to be proven at trial and emotions won't make the trial. People learned that the hard way in the Martin/Zimmerman fiasco.

I don't buy the story either. This happened in an area of Metro Detroit that isn't known for home invasion or violent crimes so the notion that a break in was attempted is flimsy. Beyond that the intoxication angle is weak as well, but thats common in death cases as it demonizes the victim as some druggie looking to cause trouble.

The real sinister part of all this is the screen door. I don't know about other places, but in Michigan everyone has a screen door (thin, made of plastics and mesh for air circulation in the summer months) and a storm door (much thicker and the usual "house door"). Your storm door is the one with the peep hole, screens you can see through.

Now i don't know about ya'll but when i look through my screen door, even if I don't have my porch light on, i can see if its a male or female or whatever. It doesn't add up.

Beyond that to shoot through that door he had to have pointed that gun at her, deliberately. Now this isn't as evil as the Zimmerman case, but all this does is reinforce the white man's fear of black skin. Its so demonic :snoop:

Hell speaking of shotguns, talk about a shotgun defense. Being a lawyer must be pretty easy sometimes. Victim is black and you're in a SYG state? Follow these easy steps:

A)Blame the victim. Drunk driving? Yeah George Bush Jr did it and became President for 8 years but this person is BLACK. Dig up some lewd text messages or bad instagram photos. What? A D grade on a report card? Hooligan, wannabe gangsta, welfare queen, scourge of civilized society.

B)Deflect blame. These colored folk are so scary. Their music is scary, movies are scary, Zuckerberg style hoodies are scary. Who knows what crafty fiendishness these people will come up with next? Just look at the news! He was never so scared in his life! She lifted the door from its hinges to enter the home to knockout game him and then somehow the door fixed itself save for the shotgun blast through the middle. Who cares? Detroit at night! Terrifying!

C)Accident. Yes the shot hit her in the head, yes the firearm was loaded, yes there was only one shot fired that resulted in death and the sheer chance of this occurring accidentally is near zero. But guns...... who can figure those crazy things out? Safety rules? What're those? Perfectly aimed shots happen accidentally all the time.

D)Rely on law enforcement. Best not to wake law enforcement when you've killed someone on your porch. Wait several hours before informing authorities to the crime scene on your front lawn. Don't worry, they haven't had their coffee yet and they'll fukk up evidence collection. Hey, they'll even throw the deceased on a table with some rotting dear meat. Those maggots will dust off no problem.

E)Jury duty. Make sure your trial is moved if there will be too many of "those people" selected. Good lawyers assure their client's negligence goes unpunished before trials even start. (If you haven't, read Alexander's The New Jim Crow, great section of how lawyers can be openly racist about their juror picks with no consequence)

Who needs tact, proper firearm control, a level head, common sense, empathy, or a working phone when you can use all of these fine defenses?

Seriously, the manner in which these cases are handled is no coincidence. Really? You're gonna contaminate the body with maggots? That shyt is so disrespectful I can't believe it. I suppose I am shocked but not entirely surprised. Fear not though, one of these bullshyt, dance-around-what-everyone-is-REALLY-thinking excuses will get him off.

the justifications are crazy

i couldnt be a judge or a lawyer, as a lawyer you have to work with pieces of shyt you know are guilty and have to try and convince people they're innocent

And a judge has to listen to this and possibly see all evidence that leads to a guilty conviction, only for a jury to possibly say they're innocent

Why is a shotgun pointed directly at her face to begin with, right at the time it supposedly "accidentally discharged"? Any explanation for that? Is this prick claiming self defense or an accident?
Thank You....don't understand how you can accidentally discharge a shotgun that you aim at a person's fukking head...really interested in hearing/seeing what hat trick the defense will use to "explain" this.

The b*stard and his lawyers cant seem to get their story straight. When talking with detectives he said his "gun discharged", but his lawyer is painting it as self-defense "he had never been this scared in his life, ever".

Look at this
ap_porch_shooting_03_murder_weapon_jc_140724_4x3_992.jpg

Does this look like it just discharges and shoots someone in the head while not damaging anybody/anything else? Do you walk to your front door to confront an intruder not knowing if your weapon is loaded?

Oh here we go :snoop:
