can i get a kaep analysis? could his flaws be fixed and could he be a elite qb like jaws claimed?
I honestly don't think Keap is that bad. He always looked like the next Cunningham and still does. It's funny how much better he looks with Crabtree at WR. He is getting better at reading progressions. I think he will always have an issue throwing guys open instead of throwing to guys when he sees them open especially v. good teams. I do believe Harbaugh has the cuffs on him right now due to the fact that their defense can do work like Cam in Carolina. His short accuracy is still poor and selling the play action could be better even if teams fall for it. He is still raw. He is really learning the position at this level on the fly and has improved greatly in my opinion. I really felt Jaws saw Cunningham again and jumped the gun. Can't blame him, he played with Cunningham who had shyt coaching, while Kaep has elite coaches, you can't help but think he could be the greatest with that if you are Jaws. I would really like if Kaep lost a little weight. I think he's too heavy. His speed is down from last year and his lateral movement is a tad sluggish as well. For a player like Kaep, just a slight drop can hurt him especially since he's still learning the position.

He will continue to improve without question. He doesn't have that many flaws and while he has one critical flaws (throwing players open instead of throwing it when he sees a player open). I think the sky is the limit for him with hard work and development.

throwing short really isnt emphasized in sf, i really want them to do more screens but roman just isnt down with it

kaep is heavy, harbaugh warned him about getting too heavy especially throwing wise

Jameis would be at an Pro Bowl level right now. He's that good and still has some areas to work on. Some dudes are just extremely gifted and had the right training. Imagined if Vick had great training from the age of 13. Vick didn't get good coaching till his 1st year in the NFL. At VT, he basically winged it. He wasn't even suppose to be the starter but the other QB's were so bad they figured Vick can run and throw the ball to Jupiter so lets see what he can do.

Jameis is rare. Like how many including I felt Luck was rare. Jameis is truly rare.

Saying Clowney is the best 4-3 DE right now in the NFL is a reach. Saying he has the talent to be isn't even with a beast like Robert Quinn. Clowney has off the chart tools and talent for his position but with that said, does he love playing or does he love the attention? Will he work hard once he gets that paycheck? Will he play hard for a bad team or just the one he wants to play for? That's why team interviews will be extremely huge for Clowney but it won't effect his stock much. Lawrence Taylor tools and talent rarely if ever comes around.

dude Peyton Manning had 28 picks his rookie year

Winston might have all the tools, but he still hasn't faced an NFL defense

i can understand why he didnt got full out this year, his whole family depends on him making it

i just dont know if hes gonna give full effort once he gets that big bonus. nobody knows, he does have lt talent but you cant measure his heart from the combines or interviews

This isn't the same NFL Peyton entered.

Matt Ryan, Cam, Luck, RG3, Wilson, Kaep, Dalton, and even Glennon has proved that much. With the rule changes as well as these kids are far more trained for this than previous generations which is why you see them winning the Heisman as a Freshman.

Winston has the tools, talent, feel, understanding of progressions, quick eyes, throws WR's open, has good decision making skills. Winston would be one of the best NFL players right now. This isn't much different than Adrian Peterson at OU as a Soph. Some are just much more gifted.

What's your take on Tajh Boyd?
I really like Boyd. I think he's underrated by some but he's a gifted talent with quick eyes and an amazingly quick release.
I think he needs some development still but his potential is very high.
I don't think he needs to start as a rookie like Locker but he's far more gifted as a passer than Locker but he really needs to spend a year working on his footwork.

He will specialize in the NFL at deep passes, move in and out of the pocket, throwing on the run, and rhythm passing. I think him and Mettenberger will make a team who invest in them very happy in the right offense. I really think a team like Arizona, Dallas, or Detroit would be wise to look at these two prospects as both will receive 2nd round grades by me.

Mettenberger is better at ball security, decision making and arm strength while Tajh has better velocity, accuracy, pocket mobility, and toughness. I would say both are system players like Flacco and Big Ben.

No one does at this point. That question just doesn't have an answer yet.
